Drive like there’s a cop behind you
Taking care of your car may seem like a difficult task. That’s why people around the world are constantly sending their cars to the shop to get things fixed because they assume that the work to maintain it is going to be too difficult for them to understand. However, all it takes is a little extra time put into it as well as knowing what to look for and where to look for it. First things first, find the owner’s manual. Anything that you need to know about your car is in that. Such as the optimal tire pressure, what each fuse does, and plenty of other things. You should listen for sounds, anything that you don’t normally hear shouldn’t be ignored. Do occasional check-ups on your car just to make sure everything is in working order and always watch the fluids. You should change your oil roughly every 3 months or 5000 miles. This is easily done, there are tutorials all over youtube.
Lastly, if you want to get every last mile out of your car, you can simply drive it like there’s a cop behind you. All it takes is being a little more careful when driving. Go over speed bumps slower, take corners slower, and try not to gun it when the light turns green. This will do way more for your car than you might think. Plus, getting pulled over will no longer be a problem. You’re probably surprised right now because you didn’t expect it to be that simple. Yes, that is truly all it takes to make your car last as long as it can last. Things happen though so drive cautious and take care of your cars.
